Mark Uzzell is a QBCC-licensed builder (Licence No. 1313179) with 35+ years of hands-on experience delivering quality homes across Sydney and  South-East Queensland. Since starting in 1990, Mark has earned a reputation for his happy, can-do demeanour, clear communication, and a simple promise that guides every project: put the client first.

As owner of The Markon Group—home to Homes by Markon and Markon Modular—Mark stays closely involved from concept to handover. He’s a calm problem-solver on site, a straight-talker in meetings, and a genuine partner to families navigating budgets, timelines, approvals and the many decisions that shape a home. Clients value his transparency, craftsmanship standards and the way he brings teams together to deliver on time and to brief.

Mark’s passion is building homes that set families up for what’s next—whether that’s a first build, a knockdown-rebuild on a much-loved block, or a tailored design for a growing household. He believes great building is equal parts listening, planning and execution, and he leads with that approach on every job.

Away from the tools, Mark is a dedicated husband and father. A former race-car and motorsport enthusiast, he now enjoys riding his motorbike and heading out on mini tours with his son, Alex. That love of family shapes his work: every home is treated as the foundation of someone’s future.
